In ‘05, I made an attempt at blogging my own way. Inspired by podcasting, I leaped beyond the written blogs, and started directly with an “audio blog”. People tell me I have a nice voice, and should be in broadcasting. Of course, I totally suck at conversation, particularly when the it’s just myself talking to a microphone and no one talking back. So I got discouraged, and things got really busy and stressful at work, and so on…

At the beginning of the year, I started to working on reviving the blog in a whole new way (for me), integrating written and spoken material. Of course, knowing me, I had to screw it up. I lost my job and had to make creative output a low priority. And, of course, I found that the blog platform I’m using (Movable Type) is so limited and poorly programmed it’s painful. And not in a fun way; more like learning from bad choices.

I’m not giving up creative expression of my opinions. You can visit my new blog and give it a test run by changing the URL of this site from blog to new. It should look like feygelegoy.com / new without the spaces. I’m concerned about comment spam, and the fact that I’m still engaged in major tinkering, which is why I don’t have the new site out in the open yet.
